    Education:
    Research experience:
    • Studying of multidrug resistance proteins, NIHI, Dept. of Cell Metabolism, 1994-;
      Since 1994 October I have been working in the laboratory of Prof. Balázs Sarkadi at the NIHI, taking part in our complex study on the human multidrug resistance proteins. My research focuses on the membrane topology and transport properties of the human multidrug resistance associated protein (MRP1); creating a mathematical model for kinetic characterisation of P-glycoprotein function; developing a double labeling method to simultaneous measurement of quantity and function of multidrug resistance proteins by a single cell digital imaging system; supporting the clinical diagnosis of multidrug resistance;
    • Confocal studying of airways mucins, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Cystic Fibrosis Research and Retreat Center, USA, August-September 1996;
    • Patch clamp studying of Outwardly Rectifying Cloride Channel (ORCC), The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Cystic Fibrosis Research and Retreat Center, USA, July-October 1998;
    • Investigation of protein-protein interaction between ABC and PDZ proteins, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Cystic Fibrosis Center, USA, December, 2000-January, 2001;
    • Studying of CFTR, Riordan Lab, Mayo Clinic Scottsdale, 2003-2005;
    • Studying of CFTR, Riordan Lab, UNC CF Center, 2005-

    Courses:
    • 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th FEBS Advanced Lecture Course "ATP-Binding Cassette Transporters: From Multidrug Resistance to Genetic Disease", Gosau, Austria, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003
    • 1st Course in Bioinformatics (European Genetics Foundation), Sestri Levante, Italy, October, 2000

    Teaching activities:
    • Participation in organisation of The ICRO Symposium and Course on Membrane Transporters and Channels, May 22-June 4, 1995;
